VOCAL Cover Night. Each performer will play at least one song written by another VOCAL songwriter. Gary Shaver, Matt Manion and John Ellis are signed up so far.

Meetings vary in format. Guest speakers offer insight into the industry and craft. In the past we've covered everything from current legal issues , Taxes, a creative writing workshop, a songwriting seminar, and music theory.
VOCAL is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing and promoting the art and craft of songwriting and musical composition. Membership is open to anyone with a serious interest in songwriting, composing, or lyric writing, regardless of style, whether novice or professional. Centered in RIchmond VA, VOCAL seeks to serve all of Virginia.
